A New Addition to my Blog

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Well, several of my family members as well as friends have encouraged me to go public with my wax tarts, candles and soap. I usually only make these items for my family and close friends, however I am taking the plunge and opening myself up to compliments and/or criticism. :)

At the top right of my blog you can now find links to my wax tarts, candles and soap pages. I do not know enough about websites and their tools to add a cart and such, however I am a very friendly person, :) , and do not mind receiving emails requesting either more information or placing an order. I do not want to charge a flat shipping rate as I feel that this may not be fair to customers. Instead it will be weighed and correctly priced by the USPS and the customer will be informed of said price in order to see if they would like to continue with their purchase.

As of right now, I can only ship within the United States. I also only accept PayPal as payment. I hope everyone enjoys browsing through my new pages and please leave a comment letting me know what you think. Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement.

Note* If you cannot see the new links, just refresh the page.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

I came across Our Green House and I am so sending this site to my husband (hint, hint honey)! I could spend all day searching this site as they offer AMAZING earth friendly products.

I LOVE the handmade soaps they offer as well as the Midnight Honey Bath & Beauty Oil. I can’t wait to try the Nourishing Lavender Milk. I like that they offer Garden Seed Kits for herbs and flowers. They also offer Organic Honey!! There is TONS of stuff for babies and children, however Mother’s Day is but once a year. : )

If like me and you can’t pick something in particular for your mom, they offer gift certificates. : )

Now, off to drop major hints to my husband and kids…
